Goat Cheese, Blackcurrants and Fir Crouton

 
This dish is perfect for the aperitif, accompanied by a Quebec cider. A gourmet spread that adapts to the season with the choice of various berries to accompany your favorite cheese. The touch of honey gives this little forest taste.

Ingredient

  • 1 sourdough or gluten free bread loaf

  • 1 small basket of blackcurrants

  • Your favorite goat cheese

  • 2 tablespoons fir honey

  • A handful of pea sprouts

 

Preparation

Slice the bread thick.

Grill it on the BBQ, or in the toaster.

Spread generously with goat cheese.

Add the fir honey, blackcurrants and pea sprouts.

Enjoy with your favorite cider or as a flavoury breakfast while camping.
